About Our Veterans - GI Bill®
With programs approved by the New York State Division of Veterans’ Affairs (VA), the American Barber Institute can equip you with all of the skills required for you to become a master barber. Our programs are approved under titles 10, 32, and 38 of the United States Code for the training of Veterans, National Guard members, spouses and children of deceased veterans, ready reservists, and even spouses and children of active-duty members in certain cases.
In order to benefit from the unmatched programs being offered by the American Barber Institute, veterans are required to provide us with certificate of eligibility as well as discharge form DD-214 in order to complete eligibility process. If you are unsure if you are eligible for education benefits, please contact your VA Representative. If you have been enrolled in a school prior, please fill out form 22-1995 and submit with certificate of eligibility and DD-214 in order to be able to enroll in our master barber program.
If you are a veteran and have any questions regarding the institutional procedures to certify enrollment, it is recommended that you contact the finance department of our school.
