Here's what happens once you connect with us — step-by-step.

Step 03

Choose Your Program and Schedule

Program: 500-Hour Master Barber Program

Available class schedules:

  • Morning: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Weekend: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday

New classes begin every first Monday of the month.

Step 04

Gather Required Documents

The following documents must be submitted at the time of enrollment:

  • Valid Photo ID
  • Proof of Address
  • Social Security Number
  • High School Diploma or GED

If a High School Diploma or GED is not available, the applicant must pass the Ability to Benefit (ATB) entrance exam administered at ABI.

Step 05

Submit Your Pre-Registration

Pre-Registrations may be submitted online or in person. Pre-Registrations are accepted at any time.

Step 06

Complete Final Registration

Final registration must be completed in person at one of our campus locations. This step cannot be completed online.

Step 07

Submit Payment

  • Down payment: $500 (includes a $100 registration fee)
  • The $500 down payment must be paid in person at the time of final registration. It cannot be submitted online or over the phone.
  • Flexible payment plans are available
  • Financial assistance is available — contact a licensed agent for details

Step 08

Begin Training

Hands-on training begins within the first few weeks of the program start date. All training is conducted under the direct supervision of licensed instructors.

Estimated completion timeline: approximately 4 months (full-time enrollment)
