About the Program
This 3-hour course is a mandatory requirement for the New York State Board of Barbering Exam. It covers HIV/AIDS awareness, bloodborne pathogen safety, and NY State compliance standards to ensure all barbers practice safely in the workplace.
Available to all prospective students applying to ABI's programs as well as active students completing their training hours.
