During four months of barber training, students learn sanitation and sterilization, barber history and NY State board exam prep — plus hands-on techniques including facial massage, hot towel shaves, styling, haircuts and shaving.

Coursework covers everything the State of New York expects of a Master Barber — from sterilization standards to exam preparation — then puts clippers in your hands for the techniques shops actually hire for.
Upon completing our Master Barber classes, graduates are offered the opportunity to meet with potential employers. Our job placement office connects fresh talent with local businesses that need it.
