ABI is part of a VA-approved job training program under Title 38 USC § 3676, and benefits may extend to qualifying dependents. These are the benefit chapters our students use.

Disability-focused trainingVeterans who contributed to the Montgomery GI Bill® can apply those education benefits toward Master Barber training at ABI.
Ask about MGIBDependents' Educational Assistance extends education benefits to qualifying spouses and children of certain disabled or deceased veterans.
Benefits for dependentsBarbering is a recession-resilient, in-demand trade with room for entrepreneurship — many graduates go on to run their own shops. ABI's discipline-friendly structure, flexible schedules and veteran camaraderie make the transition natural.
Veterans present a certificate of eligibility and discharge papers (Form DD-214). Our finance department handles the enrollment certification process with the VA — call (212) 290-2289 and we'll walk you through it.

Benefits can cover all or part of tuition depending on your chapter and eligibility. Any remaining balance can go on ABI's weekly payment plans from $150 per week — see our financial aid page.
