At ABI, we pride ourselves on all of our students' progression, as they become professional barbers. The guiding principle of barbering education is that what we are providing is the necessary education to lead a life of pride, working in a sustainable, nearly recession-proof industry. So many of our students go on to live their dream of earning a living by cutting hair. It is so much fun, and it is such an exciting challenge to help someone feel their best by providing them with the haircut that he or she wants. It is that 500 hours of preparation, consistent haircutting, and learning from paying close attention to our talented staff that optimizes our students' potential abilities.
Then, it should come as no surprise that a special set of individuals would decide to become barbers – one of the most challenging, yet fun and relaxing jobs around – after leaving the Armed Services. We take such pride in our students who are war veterans and ranking officers, who, after serving us by providing such safety to our country as soldiers, decided that they were ready to take on a new challenge.
